On our way....

Well, let us hope the holiday continues the way we have set out.....

Mark's birthday today, Happy birthday babe, and we loaded up the car (thanks to James , our holiday transport airport driver) and headed to the airport. On check-in the lovely Cathay girl smiled a huge smile and congratulated Mark on his birthday and said she was "delighted" (and she truly did look happy!) to offer him a free business class upgrade in honour of his special day. Way to go babe. Then she added that the entire family was welcome to join Mark and I in the business class lounge prior to our flight which leaves from the gate OPPOSITE the lounge.....how cool is that! Apparently she is currently working on adding me to an upgrade also and asked us to check at the lounge desk before boarding the flight. Either way. I am just as happy to sit in economy with the cherubs.

So we are on our way......
